OCUBOtter Creek Used Books moved from the basement of the Lazarus building on Main Street to the Historic Marble Works.  Follow Printers Alley to the far side of the historic Marble Works. We are on the same side as MarbleWorks Pharmacy and next door to Costello’s Market.

We offer a large collection of used books – fiction, non-fiction, sci-fi, mysteries and everything in between. Hopefully something to satisfy your interests. We are always adding new inventory – everyday!  Our philosophy is, sure, you can buy books online and never touch it until it arrives in the mail but there is nothing like holding a book that you have been searching for. Nothing! Or finding a book you didn’t know you needed until you saw it. Holding a book in your hands has to be one of the best things in life. Stop in the next time you are in Middlebury and discover what we have to offer.

Store Hours: 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tuesday – Saturday. Sunday/Monday by chance.

  1. Where in the Marble Works is your new store?

    Do you also accept used textbooks? Both of my sons are at Middlebury College and have accumulated books that are no longer being used by the class. I’m not sure what to do with them.

    • I’m located between Costello’s Market and Vites & Herbs. There is a blue awning above the door. The only blue awning within the Marble Works.

      I do accept used textbooks. I am associated with a buy back program which tells me what to offer and present a check upon completion of transaction. So please bring them in and we can see what is accepted.
